This collection of poems is not meant to stir the soul. This is not a comment on society’s morals or an exploration of humanity’s depths. This is merely the work of that 10 year old child in all of us, the child that sits in the corner of a classroom hoping to get a snicker from scribbling an obscenity on their desk and hoping the teacher won’t catch them.
This is not meant to be Shakespeare. It is nothing but works done for quick amusement. Some were written on a dare. Some were written for annoyance. Few were written sober. Some will read these verses and comment on their lack of maturity and sophistication. They are correct, and I am unapologetic. For those still in touch with that 10 year old, I hope you find these amusing.
I hope they encourage you to write those words you had buried for so long. Write your own bad poems and stand proud.
